Classic walnut baklava with flaky filo layers and rich walnut filling, glazed with homemade syrup. Less sweet, perfect with coffee.




A traditional dessert typical of Turkey, Greece, the Middle East, the Balkans and North Africa. Baklava is made from thin slices of filo dough, is most often filled with various types of nuts and is covered with sweet honey syrup. Baklava should be crispy on the surface and soft on the bottom.
Ingredients: dough (wheat flour, water, corn starch, salt, preservative E202), vegetable oil, clarified butter (ghee), syrup (water, sugar), walnuts
Minimum shelf life: 7 days – room temperature
