A traditional dessert typical of Turkey, Greece, the Middle East, the Balkans and North Africa. Baklava is made from thin sheets of filo pastry, is most often filled with various types of nuts and is covered with sweet honey syrup. Baklava should be crispy on the surface and soft on the bottom.
Ingredients: dough (wheat flour, water, corn starch, salt, preservative E202), vegetable oil, clarified butter (ghee), syrup (water, sugar), pistachios 80% and walnuts 20%
Minimum shelf life: 7 days – room temperature
